Sensei Sandra Teaches Karate for Adults in Coburg

Sensei Sandra teaches her Karate for Grownups program on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm in Coburg. This Coburg venue has an old-school feel, with original oak flooring, soaring ceilings and plenty of light. It is a large open room adjoining a private courtyard/garden area where the children can securely play in the sunshine or the shade (there is a grassed area as well as a pebbled courtyard area partly shaded by trees). We recently purchased opti-flame heaters to take the chill out of the air and provide some ambience with a real-flame effect for the winter.

Not sure where we are? We’re smack bang in the centre of Coburg, in between Coles and Woolworths and adjacent to the Coburg Library. We’re just set back from Sydney Road -walk west for a minute through the open arcade and you will arrive at our doorstep. We like the fresh food markets here, and there are plenty on Sydney Road, right through to Brunswick too. You’ll find you can do your shopping before or after karate and save $$, as this area is great for buying cheap fruit and veggies, as well as high quality proteins. Enjoy cheap and quality italian coffee here too, not to mention the best falafel we have ever eaten in Blue Moon Cafe. Yum.

Parking

We are surrounded by free parking!
Park right outside on the street for 2hours (free), opposite in the Coles Carpark for 3 hours (free), in the second Coles carpark diagonal us (free) or in the huge Woolworths carpark at the back of the Coburg Uniting Hall. Your will be spoilt for choice.

Train

Coburg Train Station is a one minute walk away (if that)  
Catch the Upfield line to Coburg and voila -you’ll arrive at the dojo!

Tram

Catch #19 Tram on Victoria Street / Sydney Road, stop 33.  It is just a minute’s walk to the dojo.
